Their Need

Within the Automobile and Mobile Sports industry, the client, a dealership, encountered significant challenges in their customer-related efforts. Identifying, consolidating, and retaining customers proved to be a dominating obstacle for the dealership. 

One of the primary challenges was identifying their customers, both potential and current. The dealership struggled to accurately segment and understand its customer base, hindering its ability to tailor marketing strategies and deliver personalized experiences. 

Another challenge was the dealership’s inability to identify the factors that contributed to the successful conversion of potential customers into paying customers. This lack of insight prevented them from optimizing their sales processes and refining their strategies effectively. 

In addition, the dealership faced difficulties in managing appointments with potential clients and customers. Record-keeping, maintenance, and execution were a challenge, impacting it’s ability to provide a seamless experience and effectively follow up on appointments. 

To simplify the procedure, the dealership needed a CRM solution that would cater to their customers who visited physical franchise locations, as well as those who interacted through their digital footprint, formed by visiting the company websites. Balancing and integrating these two channels proved to be a complex challenge in providing a cohesive customer experience. 

Furthermore, the client required assistance in their day-to-day operations and functions. Streamlining administrative tasks, improving record-keeping processes, and ensuring smooth execution of operations became crucial for the dealership’s overall efficiency.

Our Solution

In order to meet these needs, the Dealership Toolkit Portal (CRM) was developed as a comprehensive web application. This data-driven analytics-based solution aimed at increasing sales. It consisted of the following modules:

Ghost Shoppers Module

Utilizing Smartpixel and M1 Data and Analytics integration, this module collected customized data from virtual dealership visitors who did not make a purchase. The collected data provided valuable insights to the sales team, enabling them to modify their approach and target potential customers for improved conversions.

Shopping Insight Technology (SIT) Module

This module captured and displayed data and information about the potential (unsold) visitors at dealership franchises. Recording visitor feedback and generating analytics offered deep insights into visitor behavior, preferences, and comprehensive visitor history.

Appointments Module

Dealerships could efficiently create, manage, and execute appointments with potential clients and customers. The module sent out reminders for scheduled appointments, allowed rescheduling or cancellation, and provided an option to add notes for tracking the client’s acquisition phase. This facilitated effective preparation and personalized interactions with customers, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Reporting Module

This module enabled dealerships to measure the effectiveness of their strategies and campaigns. It tracked the number of leads generated by the Dealership Toolkit Portal, the conversion rate of appointments, and provided insights into the resulting return on investment for individual franchises or dealerships.

Each testing phase aimed to validate functionality, stability, user experience, and application responsiveness.
